Someone using Windows Server services needs to connect to the server for remote management. Follow the steps below to easily connect to a Windows Server.
- To access a Windows server, you will need connection details. To obtain these details, visit the website www.fastpanda.co.uk
- Click on the “Sign In” button on the opened page, enter your customer panel information, and click the “Log in” button to log in to your account.
- Click on the “VPS Server” option in the left menu.
- On the page that opens, you will see your current server services. Click the “Manage Product” button for the service whose access details you want to view.
- The required information for connecting to the server, including “IP Address”, “User” and “Password” will be displayed on the screen. Keep this information handy.
- To connect to a Windows Server from your MacOS device, you can download and use the app formerly known as “Microsoft Remote Desktop”, now called “Windows App” from the App Store.
- Open the Windows App application.
- Click the “+” (plus) icon in the top right corner of the application and select the “Add PC “option.
- When the application opens, enter your server’s IP address in the “PC Name” field.
- “From the “Credentials” section, select “Add Credentials.”
- Enter the “User” information from your customer panel in the “Username” field, and the “Password” information from your customer panel in the “Password” field.
- In the “Friendly Name” section of the Credentials, you can give a user-friendly name to avoid confusion with other existing credentials. You can use these login details on other computers in the same way.
- If you have entered the information correctly, click the “Add” button.
- In the “Friendly Name” section of the Add PC window, you can assign a name for this connection. You can choose a name to avoid confusion with your other connections. After filling in all the information, click the “Add” button. This will save the connection.
- You can double-click the created connection to connect to the server.
