MySQL is a database management system used to store, manage, and query data in an organized manner. MySQL is supported by popular content management systems such as WordPress, Joomla, and Drupal, and is widely used around the world. To create a MySQL database in cPanel, you can follow the steps below.
- Access the website www.fastpanda.co.uk
- Click on the “Sign In” button on the opened page, enter your customer panel information, and click the “Log in” button to log in to your account.
- Click on the “Web Hosting” option in the left menu.
- On the opened page, you will see your existing web hosting packages. Click the “Manage Product” button for the service you want to access cPanel.
- You will see a “Login to cPanel” button. Clicking on this button will automatically redirect you to cPanel.
- On the cPanel home page, under the “Databases” section, click on the “Database Wizard” option.
- Enter a name for the new database without using special characters and click the “Next Step” button.
- The database will be created and the message “You have created a database named “xxxxxxx”‘ will appear on the screen. After creating the database, you will need to create a user for the database. Enter a username in the “Username” section without using special characters. Set a strong password in the “Password” section. If you cannot generate a password, click the “Password Generator” button to create a secure password. After confirming the password, click the “Create User” button.
- On the opened page, check the “ALL PRIVILEGES” option to grant all privileges to the user and click the “Make Changes” button.
- After completing all the steps, the new MySQL database will be ready for use. You can check the database and assigned user information in the “Current Databases” section of the Manage My Databases page.
