- Once your SSL certificate is active, download the certificate files using the “Download” button on the ‘Manage Product’ page of the SSL service.
- Open the certificate file with the domain name as TXT. Copy the CRT code with dashes.
- Access the “SSL/TLS” section again on the cPanel homepage.
- Click the “Manage SSL Sites” button.
- Select the domain from the Domain section where you want to activate SSL.
- Paste the code you copied into the “Certificate: (CRT)” box.
- Click the “Autofill by Certificate” button.
- When you click the button, the “KEY” and “CABUNDLE” fields should be automatically filled. If the Key section is empty, it means the certificate and the Key do not match. You can review the information you copied again.
- If the fields are automatically filled, you can complete the installation by clicking the “Install Certificate” button and perform your HTTPS redirections to ensure proper certificate usage.
- Once the installation is complete, you can verify that the SSL certificate is working by opening your site with “https://”. Additionally, you can check it using SSL validation pages like https://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker.html.
