Due to factors such as service quality, pricing, ease of management, and customer support, there may arise a need to transfer your domain name to another registrar. You can review the following conditions and steps to transfer your domain name from another domain registrar to Fast Panda.
Transfer Conditions
- 60-day waiting period: After a domain name is purchased or renewed, it generally must remain registered with the same registrar for at least 60 days. This rule is set by ICANN. If the domain name is newly registered or renewed, you may need to wait for the transfer process for security and fraud prevention.
- Transfer Lock Status: Transfer lock is a security measure used to prevent unauthorized transfer of a domain name. If your domain name has a transfer lock, the transfer process cannot take place. It needs to be removed by the registrar where the domain is currently registered.
- Transfer Code: Transfer code, also known as the EPP (Extensible Provisioning Protocol) code, is a type of authentication code required for domain name transfer. It needs to be obtained from the current registrar.
