How to Transfer a .UK Domain?

The transfer of a .uk domain is a process managed by Nominet. This process specifically uses the IPS Tag system and includes some differences compared to other domain transfers. To transfer your .uk domain to Fast Panda, you can follow the steps below:

• First, request the current registrar of your domain to remove the transfer lock, if it is enabled.
• IPS Tag is a unique label assigned to each registrar and indicates which registrar manages your domain in Nominet’s system. To transfer, the IPS Tag must be changed to Fast Panda’s IPS Tag. Some registrars allow you to perform this operation through their user panel, while others may require you to contact their support team. If there is no area for you to make adjustments in the panel, you can provide the following tag to your current registrar:

When the IPS Tag change is made, it typically occurs instantly

• Access the website www.fastpanda.co.uk
• Click on the “Sign In” button on the opened page, enter your customer panel information, and click the “Log in” button to log in to your account.

• Provide access to “www.fastpanda.co.uk > Domains > Transfer Domain Names”

• Please enter the domain name you wish to transfer and click the “Continue” button.

• After performing the query, it will be displayed on the screen. Proceed by clicking “Transfer > Checkout”.

• On the next page, you will see a summary of your order. To proceed with payment via credit card, PayPal or bank transfer, click the “Continue to Payment” button. The reason for the payment is to extend the current duration of your domain by +1 year

• You can make payment via credit card, PayPal or bank transfer.

• If you have a registered credit card in the system, select your card and then click the “Submit Secure Payment” button. Your payment will be completed.

• If you do not have a registered credit card in your customer panel, select the option “Enter New Card Information Below” and fill in the necessary information, then complete your payment by clicking the “Submit Secure Payment” button.

• To make a payment with PayPal, you can select the “PayPal” option. After selecting this option, you will be redirected to the PayPal login screen. You can continue your payment process by logging in.

• To make a payment via Bank Transfer, select the “Bank Transfer” option. Note down the bank details that are suitable for you, then click the “Submit Secure Payment” button.

• The reference number to be written in the description section for payments via bank transfer will be available on the open page. Do not forget to write the description.
