FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is commonly used for transferring files over the internet or local networks. It facilitates fast, efficient, and secure file upload and download operations. These tasks are typically performed through web hosting panels or client programs. For example, FileZilla is a popular client program for FTP file transfer. It features a user-friendly interface and allows easy usage with drag-and-drop functionality. You can follow the steps below to upload files using FileZilla.

  • Download and install FileZilla. Access the www.fastpanda.co.uk website to download the FileZilla program from the Fast Panda member panel.
  • Click on the “Sign In” button on the opened page, enter your customer panel information, and click the “Log in” button to log in to your account.

  • Click on the “Web Hosting” option in the left menu.

  • Access the “Overview > FTP Information” page located in the right section of the page.

  • Click on the “FileZilla” button located right next to the “FTP Software” section. From the opened page, you can download the FileZilla program to your computer and install it.

  • After the installation is completed, open FileZilla. You need to fill in the “Host” “Username” and “Password” fields located at the top.

  • You can access the “Host,” “Username,” and “Password” information from the “Overview > FTP Information” section in your member panel.
    • Host: The address of the FTP server (for example: ftp.yourdomain.com or IP adress)
    • Username: Your FTP account username
    • Password: Your FTP account password
    • Port: You can leave it empty or use the number 21.

  • You can see files and folders on your local computer in the left-hand panel.

  • In the right-hand panel, you can see files and folders on the server.

  • After selecting the files or folders you want to upload from the left-hand panel, you can drag and drop them into the right-hand panel. The important thing to note here is to upload to the correct directory or folder.

  • When the file transfer process begins, you can monitor the progress live in the “Queued files” and “Failed transfers” tabs at the bottom.

  • When the transfer is complete, you can see the list of uploaded files in the “Successful transfers” tab.
